What You'll Do:
- Receive customer inquiries about new equipment or service of existing equipment
- Analyze customer specifications and propose suitable product configurations and modifications.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored equipment or service solutions
- Generate quotes via CRM or ERP and manage electronic quote and order files
- Enter and process customer purchase orders, acting as a liaison between the manufacturer / supplier and the customer
- Review and interpret technical documentation, including CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and application data.
- Provide technical support to customers during pre-sale and post-sale stages, including on-site visits if required.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Experience in industrial equipment sales and procurement
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or similar field.
- Experience with sizing and selection of rotating equipment (pumps and motors)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering design drawings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
