Restoration Technician

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour (may be hiogher for candidates with experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime may be available)

Job Overview

We are seeking dependable, hardworking Restoration Technicians to join its team in Knoxville, TN. This hands-on position focuses on water damage restoration, mold remediation, crawlspace encapsulation, and property cleanup for residential and commercial customers.

The ideal candidate is physically capable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and other challenging environments. Previous restoration or construction experience is helpful but not required. On-the-job training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture remediation in residential and commercial properties.

• Assist with mold remediation, cleaning, sanitization, and restoration of affected areas.

• Perform light demolition, debris removal, and removal of water-damaged building materials.

• Install crawlspace vapor barriers, encapsulation materials, and containment systems.

• Operate restoration equipment, including water pumps, wet/dry vacuums, air movers, and dehumidifiers.

• Clean and sanitize surfaces, ductwork, vents, and affected structural areas.

• Assist with minor repairs and reconstruction following water or mold damage.

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and cleaning equipment.

• Work in confined spaces, crawlspaces, attics, and indoor or outdoor construction environments.

• Follow company safety procedures, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain clean, organized job sites.

• Load, unload, transport, and properly maintain equipment and materials.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working in tight spaces, crawlspaces, attics, and elevated areas.

• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move equipment, tools, and building materials.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

• Previous experience in restoration, construction, demolition, or general labor is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

• Active, physically demanding, hands-on field position.

• Work performed at residential and commercial properties.

• Regular exposure to construction environments, dust, moisture, heat, and confined spaces.

• Frequent bending, kneeling, crawling, lifting, and standing.

• Use of protective equipment and adherence to established safety procedures required.
